Nimanthi (1979) is the eldest of 3 children of Ananda Thilaka Bowala (Eldest Bowala) and granddaughter of Nandawathie (6th of 13 Iddawelas). She studied at St. Paul’s girls school, Milagiriya, Colombo and worked for Mihin Lanka Airline. She married Kositha Usgodaarachchi in 2009 and have a son Nethula (2013).
