Cyril Iddawela (Percy 1932-1979) the youngest of 13 Iddawelas married Kusum Kahawatta (1933-2014) of Ussapitiya and settled in Kegalle. Cyril was a CDO (coconut development officer) and Kusum was a famous English teacher who has conducted tuition classes in addition to teaching in Kegalle Balika MV (one of the 2 leading girl’s schools in the Kegalle District). They had a daughter Thilamani (1959) followed by two sons Rohan (1961) and Sampath (1962).
