Mahesh is the only child of Senarath+Kamala Iddawela and grandson of Mudiyanse Iddawela. He married Insusha and have two daughters Imashi & Seshani. They live in Melbourne, Australia.
Mahesh is a cancer specialist and works as a faculty member of Monash University in Melbourne. Inusha too holds PhD and works their as a research fellow. Both did their PhD’s at Cambridge University in London, England.
