Thilamani (Sinco) Iddawela (1959) is the eldest of 3 children in Cyril/Kusum family (13th Iddawela). She studied in Kegalle Balika girls school and became a teacher following her mother’s footsteps. She married Mahinda Horadagoda (1961), CDO like her father. They live in Thila’s childhood home in Kegalle. They have 2 daughters Chathurika (1983), Surani (1985) and a son Asanka (1987). Daughter studied in Hillwood College (girls school) and son at Trinity College (boys school) all in Kandy, Sri Lanka. All three are married and settled in Colombo.
