Kiribanda had a son Richard from his first marriage. Richard Iddawela had a daughter Anula Iddawela (~1930-2012). Anula married Dr. BPN Jayasekera (yyyy-1997) and had five children Manique, Niroshan, Senaka (yyyy-2011), Ranmal and Sriyani. Richard Iddawela family lived in Colombo.
Kiribanda Iddawela’s second marriage to Harasiya Paththuwe Kulugammana Siyapaththuwe Werellagama Mudiyanselage Gedara or Mudune Gedara Dingiri Amma produced 3 sons Ranbanda (1907-1988), Wijeratne and Wijetunga. Mudune Gedara is close to the Nugawela Central College.
Ranbanda Iddawela of Nugawela and Kusa Basnayake Mudiyanselage Somawathie Illangasinghe of Gampola produced 4 children Leela, Kamala, Kesara and Chandranath. Soma is a daughter of?? Punchi Bandara Elangasinha, Rate Mahatmaya (Sinhalese: පුංචි බණ්ඩාර ඉලංගසිංහ; 6 April 1888 – 22 September 1960).
Later on, Ranbanda Iddawela had a second marriage to Mallika Alwis Ranasinghe and lived in Kalutara while employed in estate sector. They also had 4 sons Luxman, Chandra, Punchi Bandara and Kalidasa.
Wijeratne Iddawela (yyyy-yyyy) worked in police and lived in Gunnepana. He married Ekanayake Walawwe Loku Kumarihamy (yyyy-yyyy) and they had a daughter Hema (1939-1983) and 5 sons Lionel (1937), Chandraratne (1941), Leslie (1944), Bernard (1946) and Anura (1949-2017).
Wijetunga Iddawela (1908-1988) who lived in Medawala was the youngest of Kiribanda Iddawela’s 4 sons. He also worked in Police and retired as an ASP. He first married Bisomenike Kumburegama (near Arambekade) and had 2 sons Ashoka (Agra Bandara 1935) and Chandra Bandara (1936). His second marriage was from Medawala and family consisted of 3 daughters Leela, Chandra and swarna together with only son Mahesh.
