Uppekkha (1976) is the elder of two daughters of Kaushalya and grand daughter of CB (Madduma Banda Iddawela, Badulla-Atampitiya). She married Wasantha Weerasekara and settled in Seattle, Washington State, USA. They have two children daughter Kalmiya (1996) and son Shayan (1999)
